Beehive Applique design makes such a cute valentine. I used Embrilliance
Essentials to make a few changes. I eliminated the branch, leaves, and two
of the bees. That left the applique hive. I moved one bee and added the words “bee
mine.”
Hoop water-soluble fabric-type stabilizer. Add a basting
stitch in the hoop. That will show where the fabric goes for the applique.
Place a layer of dense felt and fabric over the basting stitches.
Stitch the first color stop until the stitching makes a
complete pass around. That will secure the fabric and felt just as it were a
tackdown stitch.
