Kath"s grand daughter, Taylor Nicole, in dress w/ smocked in the hoop design from Elizabeth"s Embroideries. Fabric from Laura"s Sewing and Vacuum shop. Dress is a high yoke dress designed by grandma. (Kath :o) ) Taylor is 6 yo.

Sara is wearing a dress designed by Kath :o) and was smocked in the hoop w/ a design from Elizabeth"s Embroideries on white batiste. Fabric from Laura"s Sewing and Vacuum shop. Dress is an adaptation of Martha Pullen"s back placket "Bishop" from Sewing for Jack and Jill. The machine embroidery is from the memory of the Brother Innov-is 4000D machine. Sara was letting the wind blow her towards the lake!!! Photo was taken by Melissa from "Splash of Color" photography. Sara is 4 years old.

Kenna is wearing a white batiste dress w/ a green madiera hem that "shadows" through the white batiste. The dress was hand smocked by Kath :o) and is an original design. The dress is a high yoke adaptation from a pattern by Martha Pullen in her "Sewing for Jack and Jill" book. Kenna is one year old. Photo was taken by Melissa from "Splash of Color" photography.

I don't know what is more beautiful, the work or the child. I think Taylor is terrific and I love her name.
