This is my craft room that my husband helped me put together. His shop is on the other side of the back wall. When we bought our new home the builder was not quite finished. We were able to have him put a wall up to make the big family room into 2 shops. As you can see the grand childrens toys are getting pushed further and further to the other corner. The best thing I did for myself was to go to Walmart and Target and purchase the plastic draws and put them on the counter. How nice it is to have everything within reach while working. Some of the bottom cabinets have yarn and fabric in, since I am a knitter, crocheter and sewer also.
It is just like a kitchen though. All that cabinet space and it is still not enough.

My husband flies R/C airplanes. I had his club emblem digitalized (by someone else), and I have been making shirts and hats for the members. I thought the hats would be tricky, but I splurged and got the Hat Hoop-It-All and it works fantastic.

This is another way I use to protect my hoop from adhesive sprays. I use painters tape. It only takes less than a minute and saves many minutes of cleaning the hoop later. I used this method all the time until I learned about the foil wrappers. Both work great.

With the leftover fabric pieces I had, I made these tissue holders. Also done in the hoop. I made them for everyone, since cold season is upon us. They are so much fun to make and goes quickly. I found the designs to purchase and download from http://moosebstitchin.net/index.html
I just love the results

Christmas Memo Books

I have been having fun making these memo book covers for Christmas. You can use any print or solid and choose to do add embroidery designs or not. The complete memo book cover is done in the hoop. No sewing. I did one for each my grandchildren. When they see a commercial on TV or see something in a catalog they run for their Christmas Wish Books. I even made some extra for the adults to make their lists for shopping etc for the holidays. These fit a 3X5 memo book. Add a pen and you are set.

This is the inside of the book cover. It has a pocket on the front and back. So simple to do.

There is a product called Goo Gone that works really well on getting the spray adhesives off from your hoop. You just spray and wipe.

Wow, Nancy!!! Nice room, and it looks all so neat and tidy. I'm still figuring out what to do with my room, but so far just loving the fact that for the first time I actually have a sewing room!!! Thanks for sharing, Sandy

I am so impressed. This is so organized. I was just thinking about how to place my stabilizers. Some of them are flat and some of them are rolled. This is a great idea.

This looks super. I have most of mine in a chest of drawers, under the spare bedroom bed, embroidery machine in one room, sewing machine in another room and the iron is several rooms away. Oh well, exercise.
Thanks for sharing. I will try some of your ideas.

Where did you get the pattern to do this in the hoop project. I have many granddaughters who would love these.

Hello, I am new the club, and was wondering about your tissue and memo covers. do you provide the directions for these projects and or templates? when I click on the download button I only get a close up of the photo of the item.
Please advise, and thank you for the wonderful idea!
