I agree, sometimes I think we are entirely too hung up about the minor flaws.
I do have some suggestions for you. First, I highly recommend the water soluble stabilizer by AnnTheGran: Http://www.annthegran.com/Product.aspx?t=1&i=513
It really does the trick! Then, be sure that you have NOT stretched your fabric!
Lastly, but most important, I recommend using the brayer available here: http://www.anntheran.com/Product.asp?t=1&i=23877 It is the difference between pressing out cookie dough with your fingers and pressing out the dough with a rolling pin.
