If anyone has an idea how to get a water stain out of silk, I could really use help.
I checked the Net and there were all sorts of methods - including using water????? How will that help?
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Actually, if it is only water that made the satin, water can remove it. You need to submerge the entire piece so there isn't a ring around the area that was wetted.

It did have a 'ring' around the water mark.
I called two cleaners and they said they cannot get it out either. However, I tried my "Forever New" which I love a lot! It is more gentle but cleans better (IMHO) than Woolite.
I soaked for 5 minutes per the directions and placed flat to dry. Before the fabric was 100% day, I ironed it. There are two reasons to iron when just slightly damp. One is that the 'silk' setting does not do a great job of getting out the wrinkles when the silk is too dry. And, if you wanted to spray it a little for ironing, - duh - more water satins.

Thanks to Pattiann, I did get the courage to soak the item.
