SewBlest Blog on Bobbins - the care, feeding and properties of our bobbins!
Since Debbie is a mind reader - I just had this happen today 4/4/2014. And, this is after I got it out of the machine. You should have seen what it looked like then (I did not take a photo!)
Obviously, this is not a pre-wound bobbin. I had made this one when I was out of pre-wounds and just needed something until I got a new stash. Today, I thought I would finish it off but I think the bobbin decided to finish me off instead!
If you look closely, you can see discoloration of the thread. Heaven onnly knows what it did to my machine before I stopped it. I had to operate to remove it at all!
