I want to try lacework embroidery.  I was wondering what kind of scissors would I need to have to cut out the lacework.  Dont really have anything small and sharp to do it.  Also what exactly is the best technique to use to you just use water soluble stablilizer and nothing else?  Is there special thread you need to use?  thank you for your help

Lacework is done with water soluble stabilizer, which will eliminate cutting.  I would keep a pair of cuticle scissors at hand just in case.  You may want to include a backing of tulle or organza.

There are a couple of these techniques in the Blogs sections of this site.

Here is another tutorial - http://www.annaboveembro....com/lace-technique.html
