I'm a newbie and bought this machine in December 2011. I love it but one thing I cannot figure out is how to use the automatic thread cutter. I was told it will not cut the thread between letters or numbers but should be cutting the thread between the different positions of designs. I have read the manuel and tried pushing the scissor button, but nothing happens. Any help out there please would be much appreciated. Other than that this is a great machine for not a whole lot of money. Embroiders beautifully. Thanks everyone.

Follow the instructions on pages 50 and 51. Make changes on the LCD screen prior to beginning stitching of the design.
If the problem continues, then a dealer needs to look at the machine. The thread should cut when there is a jump of more than 3 or 5 stitches, color changes and when the embroidery has been completed.
