Pattiann and Marge are giving you very good advise.  Plactice with old things from your home.  You probably have some ribbon somewhere. Spring is such a lovely time to think of ribbons and bows (or Buttons and Bows - )  (Oops, now I have an 'ear worm' on that!)

Play with your machine.  Ask a lot of questions here at the Forum. AnnTheGran is loaded with people who care and share.

I am about to do some ribbon embroidery myself.  Perhaps I will do a blog since this is a question that comes up occasionally.

Remember, when someone helps you, they are reinforcing their own knowledge and perhaps they do a little research and find new ideas as well.
