Does anyone have any tricks or tips for embroiderying on baby onesies?  I have tried different needles, stablizers, thread, and fonts and I can't seem to get anything to look right on a onesie.  The fabric pulls, the letters appear too tight and it generally just looks bad.

I have seen onesies that have been embroidered on that look great.  What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for any help.

This tutorial may help - http://www.emblibrary.co...mp;CS_Catalog=Elprojects

Once you have completed a garment where the embroidery will be next to the skin, it is recommended that it be covered to avoid irritating the skin.  There are cover up products (http://allstitchembroiderysupplies.com/department/coverastitch-fusible-embroidery-stitch-covering-dream-weave-10326.cfm?killnav=1), but I use iron-on Tricot interfacing sold in fabric stores with the bolts of interfacing for garment construction.
