I am a very staunch supporter of not giving out too much information on the Internet for the universe to see. As it is, I manage to get on multiple mailing lists and I am not happy about that!
I got an email from my daughter yesterday about this site - www.spokeo.com
I went on the site and found myself in three places and removed them immediately. They gave my name, address and phone number and included my marital status as well. They estimated my income at $336,000 per year. . . . That is crazy for sure.
To opt out, you just send an email and they give you info on how to remove your name(s).
