I am just getting started with selling quilts with embroidery. I have an order for a quilt with several different embroidery designs on it. I am not sure how to price the embroiderying. Can anyone give me some ideas?

Hi!
Depends where you are from and how the economy is doing there. Most of the time here in Central IL the rate is 1.00/1000 stitches. If you over charge someone starting out, it could put a slowdown on your business. There are a lot of people out there doing this nowadays. You want to be competitive, but not rob yourself. I called the local embroidery shops to find out what is reasonable and customary for the area.
