Hi  I just embroidered 14 large bath towels for my grandson's friends for graduation.  I use water solable on the top and 2 layers of heavy tear away. on the bottom.  I tried putting tacky on the back but it was hard to get off.  I have some tear away that is perferated and it works great.  We told the mother's of the kids getting the towel to wash them and any stabilizer would wash away.  We picked off all that was visable  and there were only a small amount in areas that we could not get to.  They all turned out great
