I have a Husqvarna Designer I and 4D organizer software.  Of course it is floppy disk.  I know how to send designs to the floppy for use in the machine with the Send 1 button.  What I cannot figure out is how to send multiple designs.  it always formats and erases disk when it writes and it always creates 4 menus on the disc but one design is all I can ever send to the disc.  how can you send more than one design to a disc.  I have other discs I was given with the machine that have mulitple designs that show up in my menu but I don't seem to be able to.

Just a thought here as I do not use this machine, nor the software.  Have you tried copy and paste?  Have you tired saving your designs to a folder and then send the folder?

No, I haven't but I will experiment.  The problem I see is that the program converts the format while writing it and cut and past options are not in the proper format and any I do cut and paste that are in the right format will not show up on the machine even though they are on the disc.  It seems the only way I can get them machine to recognize the design is to follow a procedure that reformats the disc each time and only writes one file when it does, cannot get it to do more than 1 design.  I imagine I really need a specific user of Designer 1 and 4D organizer to answer.  Thanks though.

It may be faster to contact your local Husqvarna/Viking dealer for assistance.

obviously you must be a local authorized Husvarna dealer?  They won't help because I did not buy the Machine from them but brought it with me when I moved to this area, so they are no help.  I bought the 4D organizer from JoAnn Fabrics but they don't know the answer, the machine is too old, why not buy a new one?  I guess people just aren't making enough money to help.  thanks but no thanks.

Not obvious at all!  I have never worked for a dealer nor have I ever owned a H/V machine.

It should not matter where or when the machine was purchased.  If you wish to pursue this, contact the company directly if there is an issue with a dealer.

When you purchased the 4D organizer (from JoAnn Fabrics) it would not have been from JoAnn, but from the H/V dealer kiosk in the JoAnn store - the two are not affiliated.

ATG members cannot work miracles for you.  You have to take those steps yourself.  That is what I would do in this situation.
