  • Re: Love the PE770

LOVE YOUR AVATAR!!! When he is tired of living with you, give him my address! Just a quick FYI, there is some issue with the photos in the Gallery, so post them here. When you are writing a thought here in the Forum, click on the 'film' icon (right of the tree) and follow the prompts. Try to...

What a story! You did the right thing all the way around. I use Brother and Baby Lock (mostly the latter) and find them to be as you said - user friendly. Any company can send out a dud for sale. It happens to the best of manufacturers, they just need to know that their first priority is to the client...

  • Re: Brother PE770 - thread wadding up! Help!!

You are so right! I had the same issue and the smallest piece of thread can do this to anyone of us. I always make sure that my flashlight is available because it is challenging to say the least to see some of the thread. Pat, The Avid Embroiderer

  • Re: Brother PE770 - thread wadding up! Help!!

I traded my SE-400 for the pe-700II a week ago and have wanted to rip my hair out! I have had trouble getting the hoop to click in and have not had one design go right. Error message: Check upper thread and re thread...My embroidery looked more like a rats nest than a birds nest! Having said that .....

Let us know how you like it. I agree about canned air and a decent vacuum would be great. However, like small irons, some of them are more like toys. In fact, I had a toy iron as a child that worked really well, sure wish I still had it. Pat, The Avid Embroiderer

I am glad you are settled in this issue. As you can see, a lot of things can go wrong. This does include a lot of places where things can go badly. For me, I have found that a lint both on the upper areas and especially in the bobbin case and surrounding spaces can and is a great place for dust/lint...

  • Re: Adding spaces between words

I gotta say, everyone has this issue with the Brother machines. There is an underscore line that has small marks at the beginning and end of the line. That is the space. I had this issue too! We need to have a sisterhood for all of us who did not figure this one out!!! Pat, The Avid Embroiderer Best...

  • Re: Used designer 1 viking

After 8 months at my dealer's store, I just sold a Brother machine. I don't know what they sold it for, I got $260 which was less than a third of what I paid for it. It was only 3 years old. I sold it through my dealer, who had recently serviced it, because I wanted to avoid strangers coming...
