Hey all I'm a newbie and learning. I've tried doing some towels and I generally just use tearaway stablizer under it and solvy wss on top. But I saw one someone else did for a friend of mine and I think she just used wash away on both sides? What stablizer do you use? Thanks

This is really beautiful. I am including your photo here. You touched on several important points - Make sure you know how many stitches you are putting into a given area. Adjusting the stabilizer to accommodate those stitches is such a good idea. Puckering is avoided and that is a common problem. This...

I can really sympathize with you! I had a PE700 at one time and it was not quiet at all. You have a few issues here. Let's address the easy one, the alignment issue. This is a stabilizer issue for sure. Increase the amount of stabilizer you are using. Unless absolutely necessary, don't use tearaway...

You are miles ahead of me, I can just barely sew a straight line! I have been blogging here - only discussing whatever I recently did - because I am no expert , but I love talking embroidery. can and do learn and grow every time they do a project or design. I remember when I was a newbie, over 10 years ago, and I felt like I was totally lost and wondered if I would even 'get' the embroidery process. After all, hand embroidery was so simple and if you add a computer, that should make...

How well I remember being where you are! There is a great deal to learn, and you are biting off just a little more than most newbies usually do. May I suggest that you do some reading? Your manual for your machine, assuming that you have one, is for the machine and not for embroidery. My first three...

There is much to learn grasshopper newbie - welcome to the wonderful world of machine embroidery! Keep in mind that the computer on your embroidery machine is not a computer in the same sense of your PC. The computer on the machine is just to tell the machine how to embroider and a few things, like resizing...

Thank you for noticing the tutorial. You will learn from it and I know you are going to have a lot of fun with your new purchase. I had the same problem when I was a newbie (just like you!). There is a line which looks like an underscore, and it is actually the space. Check out the blogs, Forums and...
