Robin, Sometimes the bobbin thread will slip out of the tension slot of your bobbin, if it is clean. As Patti said keep it clean and always make sure it is in the tension slot good. The thread will also do that if it is not in the tension slot good on your machine head. Check these two items before placing...

It took me a while, but I figured out how to do it. I did go through the process of installing WinZip, but I am not sure it was necessary as I had a zip/unzip program already. The problem is that when you are in free desings and you click to save the file, the file name defaults to "freedesign"...
