For my first try at this idea, I think I did well. I will be working toward a true WOW factor now.

There are so many things that can be done with this! For instance, I forgot to add that this would be an EXCELLENT sales promotion for a little league team, add the boy's names and the team name, include a design of the sport and you have one terrific fund raiser!

Debbie - I find the basting a great idea for something that is heavy such as a towel. I just did some Egyptian Cotton towels and they are THICK!

I very rarely hoop at all and usually use a sticky-backed stabilizer. Will definitely try hooping the tear-away and basting. Great idea, Pat!

The beauty of the Net is that we can enjoy and share things with each other despite our locations. I learn a lot from reading the Forum and the blogs right here. That is why AnnTheGran is a great place!

You don't have to do exactly what I do, it is what works for me. What you can do is take something from here and something from another blog and when it is right for you, you have your method.

I am trying to add a little humor to my blog - when I went looking for a 'fainting' photo, you cannot believe what I found that was so FUNNY! Hope you enjoy the photos too.

What a good blog Pat, I agree with you totally except I don;t use that much stitcky and never hoop anything.

Everyone should try this method and I will almost guarentee and you will never hoop again.

I am leaving a comment here as my problem is related to Native American Designs. I purchased the "Pueblo Children" design set from Ann the Gran in 2002. Unfortunately my computer, back-up discs, embroidery machines, stash and everything were stolen. I loved these designs and used them often. I wanted to buy the pack again and found that they no longer appear on the Ann the Gran site. In fact the whole site is different. It looks just like the Embroidery Designs.com site now. I called the ATG phone number and got an extremely rude woman who said I should have made backups! That "Vendors" change, etc.. I re-emphasized that Ann the Gran WAS the Vendor and where were the designs for sale now. She said she couldn't help me. Do you know where I can repurchase the "Pueblo Children" pack? Is it still possible to re-download them from the ATG site? I sewed them all over my lab coat when I worked as a nurse in Taos and the patients loved them.
