After Pirate Mini-Golf, we went to Dairy Queen and had ice cream. It was incredibly windy and Josh"s ice cream kept blowing back onto his face!

Sam & Kristina enjoyed the foot bath and mini-manicures when a friend was kind enough to offer a free massage, manicure & pedicure to some of us. It was very nice after a long day of work. Sam got to spend the day there playing while I worked.
I used Jen Maceynas" Autumnal Equinox kit and the fonts Edwardian Script and University Roman. I used the chrome effect on the title to make it match the metal elements from the kit.

This was Sam holding her little brother for the first time. She was very excited! She really hadn"t been around babies much before. I think she thought it was like having a baby doll. She was surprised when he moved and made noise!
I used a kit called Autumnal Equinox by Jennifer Maceyunas. I chose it because, and this may sound silly, the colors perfectly matched the colors of the hospital room! And the little bird is so cute! I use Photoshop Elements version 5 (PSE5) and I also used the matching Autumnal Equinox Alpha. I"ll be using this kit for all the photos from the hospital room!

We took the kids miniature golfing for the first time on Samantha"s 7th birthday while we were in Nags Head, NC. The golf course had a pirate theme and it was a lot of fun! So much fun in fact, that we had to go twice in one day.
All papers and elements are from the Buccaneers kit by Kristmess Designs. I use Photoshop Elements 6.0 also.

These are some photos of my daughter and her many different fashion choices. She has always liked to dress up - not in costumes or fancy dresses, but just in her regular clothes. The things she chooses to combine are sometimes very interesting!
I used the Springamajig mini-kit that Ann Cobb offered on Stacy"s blog and tutorial. I wanted the title to look like chipboard so I used a chipboard alpha made by a designer named Amy Sumrall. I colored it to match the little flower in Ann"s kit. I have a hard time getting things just the color I want them to be so I"ll be hopping over to the forums to ask that question! I use Photoshop Elements 5.0.

This is our cat, Maria. My daughter named her after the character of Maria in the Sound of Music. She is a very gentle and loving kitty. We are enjoying her and her sister, Bits.
I used Jen Maceyunas" Autumnal Equinox kit and the coordinating alpha. I like the pretty, muted colors. I think they speak well to Maria"s gentleness. She enjoys looking out the window all day so I thought it would be nice to put the tree and bird in there with her.

4th Birthday

These are some pictures from Josh"s 4th Birthday party at Jump Zone. I thought the bright colors of this kit went well with a birthday theme. He loved his Diego birthday cake (and actually ate a piece!). I was pleased when I saw how this photo of him blowing his candles out on his cupcake cake at home came out. I"ve always wanted to get a good low-level light photo but point & shoots never seem to want to do them.
I used a kit called Fun at the Fair by Kristmess. What I really like about this whole set is that the alpha and numbers match everything else. I like things to match and am not very good at recoloring elements so I like when everything is made for me by someone who knows what they"re doing! I use Photoshop Elements 5.0

This is such an adorable photo! I love the close-up angle os the shot, and the title you created with the alpha and buttons (for dots on your i's) is such a cute finishing touch!

This is gorgeous! She looks like such a proud sister. I remember how excited I was when my little sister was born. I had a real live doll to play with LOL. Love your title and sweet little birdie!
