Kit Used: Randi Oh Designs "Happy Holidays Collection"
Font: Vladimir Script
For the last few years I have given all of our family calendars for Christmas that I have made with photos of the girls through out the year...I have always designed them myself even before I actually was digi scraping. Last year the LOs were my very first attempts at digi scraping. Everyone loved the calendar and it was pretty cool...but look out this year. It is going to be awesome. Here is January to share. The photo is of my husband and my girls when we went sleding. My oldest (not quite 3 at the time) loved sledding. She insited on going by herself and literally flew down the hill.
I am particulary proud of this LO because I did alot of alteration to the photo that I hope no one else can see. There was too much space between my husband and daughter walking so I did a little cutting, pasting and fliping to get the spacing I wanted to better allow for the cluster in the bottom corner.
Hope you enjoy!

Kit Used: Shades of Blue Collection and Sticker Collection by Randi Oh Designs.
This is the second page of a LO I previously posted, Fab 7. It is all the kids on my side of the family. The photo was taken July 2007. They all absolutely love to play with each other.

I love this picture of my daughter when she was 5 days old. It is the picture we used for her announcements. She was so beautiful and tiny. She just turned 2 so I am missing the tiny baby.

This is the first good picture of my girls together. Madie was 5 days old and Kenzie was 19 month. It is amazing to look at them in their first photo and then look at recent ones at 2 and 3 1/2. They are such sweet sisters.

My husband had just gotten a new ATV and my daughter wasn"t sure yet if it was fun to ride. Actually, I think she was excited to ride but not wear the helment. It was almost heavier than she was at the time.

These are the 7 cousins on my side of the family. We call them the Fab 7...there is a new one due in at the end of November so we will have to come up with a new name.

These are my babies. What you don"t see in the pictures is how many shots have to be taken to get some good smiles. They were troopers.

The actual photo I used was one I loved but had a terrible fence in the way and an unpleasant background. I couldn"t find another similiar so I designed around it. I love the pictures of my husband interacting with my daughter. I want her to remember how much attention he gave her and how he spent time with her. This is a way to preserve some of those moments.

Yes! the background paper matches her coat which pulled me into the photo, and what a cute photo with her head down because of the weight of the helmet! I like the way you used some of the elements, like the journal sleeve as a layer behind the photo and the postcard stapled to the page and the stitched ribbon and paper. Precious!!!

What a fabulous photo - and I agree.. I can barely get one kid (mine!) to look at the camera.. how you have them all looking in the same direction is quite the feat! Perhaps a photography business is in your future? The photo is ADORABLE! I love all the clustering and layering of the elements and really like the way you clipped it together at the top with the binder clip.. MOSTLY.. I LOVE the way you framed the photo! Great Layout!

so wonderful that you were able to work with this photo -- it looks SO vintage and you did an amazing job saving it, it's precious! I also LOVE that you planted trees and created a forest in the background using the Christmas trees, that is so creative and inspiring! I could keep looking at this beautiful page for hours. Fantastic preservation and just love the story and LO!
