i have the PE-700II and i'm all ready to embroider my design and it keeps telling me Lower the Presser Foot lever. This has already been done and it won't start the process. Every time i try to start it gives me the same error message. I've tried turning it off and then back on to no avail.
Does anyone have any suggestions? It's brand new out of the box.

That is exactly how we all started - ask a question and then figure it out for ourselves.
May I recommend that you be sure to read the post for the PE-700II? There is information that seems obvious but not if you are new and all the buttons are strange to you.
We all started where you are, please be sure to read, ask questions and read some more. AnnTheGran is the best site on the Internet for ease of finding answers for so many questions. The people here are friendly and willing to help, no matter what the question.
Congratulations on that machine, it is a work horse, and you will have many happy hours creating things with it.
