I'm looking at buying the PE-700II but I would also like to get the Design Software. Can someone tell me where I might buy this? I've looked and all I can seem to find is 7. I do not have a Brother Dealer in my area.

I believe this software has to be purchased through a dealer.
You do not need to use the same brand of software as the machine.
Embird is a popular software and can be downloaded.
There is a free trial of basic, which is what you need to start, then you buy plug-ins for different levels, like digitizing as you become more comfortable with ME and want to expand.
Secrets of Embroidery has the download as well as tutorials.

Thanks for the info! I had researched Embird but wasn't sure if it worked with the new Brother. Thank you again, I will look into this further. It seems to be a little more affordable as well.
