When I am downloading some of my freebies I see that they are unknown files and will not open-error message tells me it needs file path. What??

This problem could be due to many reasons, please check all the possibilities below:
1.They are not unzipped properly ,please use Winzip to unzip them (sometimes other utilities put different file extention at the end of the file which is unknown to embroidery softwares)
2.Maybe you clicked on the link instead of the actual design file so, in that case the TXT file is downloaded and not PES design file
3.Your software does not read this version of PES format ,you need higher and lower version which CatalogXP will provide you that
Please try all these and if it does not work send us the design name with some more details on how you download the file.
