When I saw this tip on the Net in DIY, I tried it so fast my head was spinning. I just used a cloth soaked in WD-40 and rubbed it on the door. I have no idea what it is going to look like tomorrow or next year, but it looks good right now. I tried wiping off the WD-40 but there was always some remaining. I am thrilled with the outcome and if there is a little oil on my door, I am OK with that. Pat, The Avid Embroiderer
